our pastors
José and Mayra Alfonso are ordained ministers of the El Sendero de la Cruz Church in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico, and ordained ministers of Piedra Angular Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Both studied at the University of Puerto Rico.
Pastor José also completed pastoral counseling courses at the Sendero de la Cruz Institute and the Theological Seminary of the Americas in Cupey, Puerto Rico.
They served as youth pastors in Puerto Rico and Tulsa.
In 2005, they received God's call to pastor Cornerstone Church. José served as president of the Pastors' Alliance in the city of Tulsa and currently, in addition to pastoring, he is the Regional Director of the IFC International Federation of Chaplains for the state of Oklahoma, an organization registered with the U.S. Department of State.
Both have a passion for seeing lives restored and uplifted with the love and power of God.
